Creating a Wildlife Paradise

“Dr. Deer” Is Our Partner for Wildlife-Attractive Trees

Wildtree is partnering with Dr. James Kroll—also known as “Dr. Deer”—to give landowners and wildlife aficionados a suite of plants suited for their geographical area and aimed at attracting wildlife and, in particular, white-tailed deer.

Wildtree has created a collection of wildlife-attractive plants, trees, and shrubs that are classified and labeled for each US growing zone. Our mission is to help our customers turn their property into a wildlife paradise.

Choose the Wildlife Trees that Best Match Your Geography

Our website is user-friendly and packed with advice to help you select the right trees for your geographical location. Our collaboration with Dr. Kroll has given us the tools and training to ensure you’re getting the right advice for your land.

If you’re looking for landscaping to attract wildlife, you can’t go wrong with Wildtree. We’ve focused our attention on trees and shrubs that attract white-tailed deer, but our selection is suitable for all wildlife. Turkeys, squirrels, rabbits, and hedgehogs will stroll around your property, eating and finding shelter in your land.

Our Suite of Wildlife Trees Has Been Carefully Selected

Our selection of trees is based on Dr. Kroll’s research and expertise. Having spent years studying deer and wildlife, he has shared many valuable insights with us on what deer like to eat and which trees provide deer with the best nourishment and nutrients.

For instance, the Wildtree Mexican Oak is a hardy tree that is particularly attractive to deer. It is drought, heat, and cold-resistant, and thrives in a broad range of soil types. Best of all, it consistently produces a multitude of acorns year after year for the deer to enjoy. It is such a beautiful and striking tree that many property owners choose to plant it for its foliage alone.

Give Your Wildlife Food Sources for Several Months

Our suite of wildlife-attractive trees contains a mix of different types of trees. This is because mixing different trees will provide food sources for deer from late autumn all the way through late winter, when soft grasses start to grow and new food sources appear.

For example, the Sawtooth Oak produces its acorn crop in early fall, but Nuttall Oak drops its fruit in November. And the American Persimmon drops its crops well into December in southern climates. Working together, these three trees will keep the wildlife on your property fed well into the winter!

If You Succeed, We Succeed

Your success is a testament to our success. We strive to give property owners simple and straightforward advice that makes achieving their goals easy. That’s why we’ve collaborated with Dr. Kroll to develop techniques that will lead to success and a wildlife paradise on your land.

Our aim is to help property owners be successful in the long-run. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is a wildlife paradise. It’s an investment that, when done properly, will give back for years to come. We are here to support your endeavor with advice and the right trees for your land.
